As the largest hospital on the Rockaway Peninsula and
provider of care to residents of the nearby Five Towns, we
encourage you to review our Services section especially
those which are provided on the Peninsula only by St.
John’s, including obstetrics services, inpatient
mental health services, and clinical pastoral education.
St. John’s is a faith-based institution and the
cornerstone of Episcopal Health Services. A vital part
of our mission is to provide quality health care in a
compassionate and caring environment, which we have incorporated
as our Hospital’s Core Values and Service Standards.
At St. John’s, we are constantly working to improve
quality of care. W are very proud to report that, according to recent publicly reported data, our quality of care measures for heart attack, heart failure, and pneumonia exceed state averages. We continue to strive to raise all our core measures and the satisfaction of our patients. With our neighborhood partners, we're working hard to raise the overall quality of health of our community. We see our role going beyond treating and diagnosing the acutely ill to improving access and prevention to make our overall community healthier.
