Welcome to the Medical Education Programs at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. The Hospital offers high quality, free-standing, independent allopathic, osteopathic and podiatric residency programs.
The Hospital’s allopathic programs include primary care, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and psychiatry. The primary care internal medicine residency program is a free-standing independent program of the Internal Medicine Department of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, affiliated with the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn (SUNY). The programs in physical medicine and rehabilitation medicine and psychiatry are conducted by SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
The Hospital’s independent osteopathic programs are affiliated with Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Residencies are offered in: Dermatology; Family Practice; Obstetrics/Gynecology; Ophthalmology; and Surgery.
There are also clinical clerkships for third and fourth year rotations in all disciplines of medicine, including: Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Famly Practice Adult Medicine, Imaging, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Surgery and Ambulatory Care.
