Thank you for your interest in St. John’s free-standing
osteopathic graduate medical education programs. We have one
of the most comprehensive osteopathic graduate medical education
programs in the New York metropolitan area. Accredited by the
American Osteopathic program, our program is affiliated with
allopathic and osteopathic institutions. Currently, we train
more than 125 interns and residents in a number of specialties.
Our interns and residents help to ensure the continuity of patient care in the Departments of Family Practice, General Surgery, Obstetrics/ Gynecology, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology. A large, active group of attending physicians complements our faculty, giving the program strong representation in all areas of medicine and enabling our staff to help care for more than 10,000 admissions, 30,000 emergency cases, and more than 34,000 ambulatory care visits per year. Participants in the Graduate Education Program get real-life, hands-on experience, working alongside the best and brightest doctors in the area and become an integral member of our medical team. We work with residents every step of the way to make sure their experience is valuable. Albert J. Strojan, III, DO |
