The Osteopathic Intern Program has been formulated so
that the intern can participate in the care of the patient
from admission to discharge. The educational program
is based on the individual needs of the intern. Under
the supervision of an attending, the intern is given
increased responsibility commensurate with his/her demonstrated
merit and ability. This will help the intern to develop
confidence in his/her own clinical judgment.
As a member of the health team, the intern's time in
the Hospital will include direct participation in
all phases of patient care. Rotations include: General
Surgery/Selective Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics/Adult Medicine/Selective
Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonary/Special Care, 0B-GYN/Pediatrics/Emergency
Medicine and Outpatient Services
John’s Episcopal Hospital is an equal opportunity
employer.
