At St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, a boardcertified physiatrist develops your goaloriented treatment plan. (Physiatry is a branch of medicine that specializes in the functional restoration of those affected by physical disability. A physiatrist must complete four years of medical school, one years of internship and a three-year residency program.)
