ST. JOHNS EPISCOPAL HOSPITAL COMMUNITY BOARD INSTALLS NEW OFFICERS
(JUNE 14, 2010) Far Rockaway, NY - - - The Community Advisory Board of St.
John's Episcopal Hospital installed a new slate of officers at its annual
dinner meeting on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. The keynote speaker was Sanford
M. Bernstein, General Manager of The Wave, who gave the history of the
newspaper, as well as its editorial philosophy and tips on submitting
stories.
John Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of St. John's, spoke on the
state of the Hospital. Kathleen LeCadre, member of the Board of Managers of
Episcopal Health Services, St. John's parent organization, administered the
oath of office to the new officers and to all the members of the Advisory
Board. The newly elected officers are: Rachel D. Forde, President;
Christina Russell, 1st Vice President; Anthony LaFerrara, 2nd Vice
President; Juana Cabrera-Bodre, 3rd Vice President; and Cliff Russell,
Secretary.
