St. John’s Offers State-of-the-Art MRI

St. John’s now offers state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging services with a new 1.5 Tesla full-service unit. The new MRI unit offers a stronger, high-field magnet that provides improved image quality with additional capabilities for neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic and vascular exams. Plus St. John’s now offers headphones and music during the exam for greater patient comfort.

"The new MRI offers better detailed imaging that will help provide more accurate diagnoses and treatment," said Paul Dupont, MD, Chairman of the Department of Imaging at St. John's.
