ST. JOHN'S EPISCOPAL HOLDS RESIDENCY PROGRAMS GRADUATIONS
(JULY 7, 2010) Far Rockaway, NY - - - In June, the numerous residency
programs at St. John's Episcopal Hospital held graduation ceremonies. The
first ceremony was held by the Internal Medicine Department for its
graduates on June 15, 2010, at the Imperial Room in Inwood, NY. The second
ceremony was held on June 22, 2010, at the Inwood Country Club in Inwood,
NY, for the graduates of the Osteopathic Programs in Dermatology, Family
Practice, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Osteopathic Manipulative
Medicine, and Surgery. The Podiatry residency program and Wound Care
fellowship held their graduation that evening also. The graduations drew
many people, including family members from around the country and the world.

program posed alongside members of the
faculty at their graduation ceremony
which was held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010,
at the Imperial Room in Inwood,
NY. Dr. Sheldon Markowitz, Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine,
(center, kneeling) urges the graduates to remember to continute to "serve
humanity" during his remarks of congratulations.

of Infectious Diseases, upon the occasion of
his retirement after serving at
St. John's for 25 years.

The graduates of the Osteopathic Programs gathered
with Dr. Suzanne Sirota-Rozenberg,
Assistant Director, Osteopathic Programs
(second from right) and Roy DeBeer, DO,
attending, Internal Medicine, at the
graduation ceremony held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010,
at the Inwood Country
Club in Inwood, NY. Dr. Sirota-Rozenberg, who hosted the ceremony,
thanked
the graduates for their service to their patients.
