Support Groups
Healthy Hearts for Kids Support Group
The Healthy Hearts for Kids support group educates children and
their caregivers about living healthier lifestyles. The group
discussions, led by pediatricians and nutritionists, center on
diet and nutrition, exercise and prevention. The group is open
to children ages 4 to 16. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Meetings are held at the Hemodialysis Conference Room, Ground
Floor.

Prepared Childbirth Classes
The Prepared Childbirth Class prepares parents-to-be for pregnancy
and delivery, and includes breathing techniques, infant care and
a tour of Labor and Delivery at the Hospital. The three-session
class is taught by certified birth educator registered nurses.
Classes are held every other month and fees are reasonable. For

Diabetes Education Support Group
The Diabetes Education Support Group offers education about living
with diabetes. Each meeting focuses on a different topic, led
by a specialist or educator in that field. The Group meets 10
times a year on the fourth Monday of every month at 1:30 pm in
the Hospital’s first floor Boardroom.
