Learning to live with diabetes can be difficult. The Diabetes Education Program at St. John's Episcopal Hospital can help. On Monday, June 25, 2007, nutritionist Stephanie Cordaro, RD, will give a cooking demonstration using simple guidelines and healthy ingredients. Patty Mairen, RN, certified diabetes educator from Pfizer, will also give a presentation. The free program will be held at 1:30 pm in the Board Room at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, which is located at 327 Beach 19th Street, Far Rockaway, NY 11691.
