More than 550 people generously supported the 27th Annual Chrysanthemum Ball, hosted by the Development Board of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. Held on Saturday, November 19, 2005, at the Sands at Atlantic Beach, the Ball celebrated the Hospital’s Centennial with an historical photography display and ice sculpture centerpieces. The proceeds of the Ball are dedicated to the expansion of the Emergency Department, the 911-receiving Hospital serving the Rockaways and the Five Towns.
