Looking for the best
rehabilitation services on the Rockaway Peninsula
and the New York metropolitan area! Search no more.
Bishop MacLean Episcopal Nursing Home offers a complete
rehabilitation program, including Physical Therapy,
Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Audiology.
We provide medically supervised rehabilitation for
people recovering from strokes, surgery or injury
as well as those requiring treatment for chronic conditions
such as arthritis or osteoporosis. A licensed
physical/occupational therapist evaluates each resident
and creates an individual treatment program based
on each person's needs for regaining full or partial
mobility under the supervision of a staff physiatrist.
The therapists work with a rehabilitation aide on
each floor to help residents overcome fears and heal
body and mind together.
